Christian Bale, going forward

He has always been considered a good/really good actor and he has found commercial success with Terminator and the Batman films. So does he continue to pursue money or does he go back to taking chances in movies like The Machinist?

you're in for a treat. it's a great movie and very rewatchable. bale's best work imo. he's very animated and is perfect for the role

Loved him as Patrick Bateman. Much better character than if they had gone with Leonardo Dicaprio (not hating on Dicaprio, I like him but present day Leo>2000 Dicaprio and the role doesn't seem to fit him).
ETA: Ewan Mcgregor would've been good, but I'd still prefer Bale.

He's in another new movie coming out with Casey Affleck
and Woody Harrelson about meth dealers in Pittsburgh or West Va. It looks very good though.
