He was a pretty successful real estate investor but he personally guaranteed a huge loan (30 million or so) and the crash wiped him out I believe. His wife also comes from money I believe. She was Miss Georgia or something.

I've seen promos for this show and can't imagine anyone really watches. If people are watching then we may well be too far gone as a culture to ever fully recover.

Well they call it morning show because they don't want to get sued for slander, but it's definitely a parody of him and his wife. I love it.

They parody everyone else. I think Chrisley isn't famous enough for parody. That would be a better explanation to why they do a similar character instead of him.

I'm the last person to be into whatever is trendy or ever watch any reality show. This show baffles me so much it cracks me up.
The daughter's voice is actual the most obnoxious to me and I may be getting burnt out on this show but there's no need to be too serious.
