I highly doubt his healing allows him to get sunburnt.

What I love most about the Russos is the suspense they build. When Evans delivers the line "well it's been a long day"

Now can they top the opening to Winter Soldier or the elevator scene?

I suggest you stay away from the Star Wars threads, in which everyone is excited about "Rouge One." I choose to believe it's a running joke at this point.

Where's Spiderman. Also it didn't seem as epic as I'd imagine it to be. I mean bucky is a terrorist so them arresting him is a no brainer.

Then after they get him in they could have review and deprogram him.

This is a good thing. The need to make every film "epic" is what can kill a franchise. Keep it small, personal, and tell a good story. I don't need epic.

While I agree,

lends itself to being epic.

Wait, Tony Stark is on the government's side? After that speech straight from Ayn Rand?

Has Marvel made the Civil War storyline from the comics into one larger book?
Similar to the Death of Superman and the Breaking of the Bat?

If so, it's been a loooong time since I've purchased a comic. Could you lead me on the right direction? I've never read the Civil War story and some people here make it sound amazing.

TIA.

It's good, not great. Ok, probably pretty good. It comes from a long history of activity though. To get the condensed version, you need 5 Trade Paperbacks:

Prelude to Civil War
Civil War
Captain America: Civil War
Iron Man: Civil War
Spider-Man: Civil War

There is no omnibus of Civil War. There are other ancillary stories, but those give you all of the points, the origins, the cause and effect, and the major players involved.

So Tony, with Iron Man's operating system, could just say to Jarvis or Friday, or whoever is the operating system at the time, "shoot the two people kicking my arse" and be done with it. Thor and the Hulk are one thing, but for tony to take a beating in a fist fight with cap and Bucky, it means he's holding back his punches.

The stories kind of intertwine. Prelude comes first in its entirety, then the first 2 or 3 chapters of Civil war, then Cap Chaps. 1-2, Iron Man 1-2, Spider-Man 1, then Civil War 4-5. Then I think You can alternate, 1 Chapter of each. It is a little confusing because the first chapter of Civil War is New Warriors (I think), followed by Avengers, then Iron Man...it just spanned a lot of books. It's not so bad if you read it out of whack and you can usually tell what's up next by reading the titles of the upcoming chapters/comic books.

(Civil War is 12 issues, Cap, SM, IM contain 6 issues each of their respective comics.)

Cap has beat Tony multiple times FWIW.

True, but in the movie world, he has used his shoulder bullets to kill multiple moving people at one time.

There's no denying that in this movie world he could just kill or disable cap and Bucky anytime he wants.

Cap could beat Tony with a plan, but in an impromptu fight with iron man fully capable, cap dies every time unless you give him the ability dodge bullets.
