Does Ant-Man have a new suit?

I'm assuming so. The helmet design has definitely been tweaked.

Looks badass. Iron Man's squad with Vision looks pretty tough to beat

I question the Widow's stance. I can't help but feel she might be a swing vote and eventually go to Team Cap.

Avengers 2 sucked. And I love comic books movies / TV shows.

Age of Ultron didn't suck. It just missed, but was a necessary evil to set up Phase III and Infinity War. The one thing I found lacking is that, through all the stuff that happened, I never felt like the world was in danger. In the first Avengers, you had that moment where they were clearly fighting an unstoppable foe. You didn't have that in Ultron. Ultron could've been the ultimate homicidal monster, but I think they are saving that for Thanos. Plus, you've set up Cap/Tony's differing opinions for Civil War. So Civil War will probably be the movie we wanted to see Ultron be.

I'm really excited for this movie. I thought Winter Soldier was one of the best comic book movies of all time and a great example of how the genre can push the envelope. I'm excited to see what the Russo's do with Civil War.

"Sucked" might have been a little harsh. It was watchable, but that's about it. It was not good.

Age of Ultron got better on repeat viewings,

Ultron unfortunately doesn't get better on repeat viewings.

It was watchable, but certainly not re-watchable.

Same way I don't watch all of the Chuck Lorre shows on CBS and know that they suck too.

Ah.. kind of like we don't have to read all of your posts to know that they suck?

Even if that movie wasn't.

That was a great heist movie, and I like having a Superhero movie where the fate of the world isn't in balance.

Winter soldier was great, and I like how the Hydra/Shield twist was kept under wraps in the advertising.

After Bucky tried to kill Stark I'm now of the opinion, "frick Cap and his boyfriend." I hope Iron Man beats the living shite out of both of 'em.

I can see that as easily as I can see Stark being the one who ends up dying; it's 50/50 at this point for me. fricking Bucky though, he just gets on my nerves. That stupidass hair, his bromance with Cap, and now he's stirring up shite again and he's obviously still a killer as he straight up tried to murder Stark.

Bucky has the gun pointed at Stark who blocks it first with his left hand, which didn't have an Iron Man glove on it, then grabs the pistol with his right hand which has a mini-glove from his suit, doesn't even cover his fingers (basically just his palm), and Bucky fires a round. He tried to shoot Stark. What's confusing?

im actually enjoying their story. i never read CA or WS comics so that whole story is intriguing to me.

though i was pissed someone spoiled the who WS is in a hype thread on here before the movie was released.

As in we have 0 context to what is going on, who's doing what, or if Stark has already threatened Bucky's life. That's a lot of reaction to a 4 second clip.

I'll give you that we don't have the full context of the scene, but we do have some idea of what's going on; Stark activates a glove from his watch and grabs Bucky's gun, which was already pointed at Stark since he first pushed it away with his non-gloved hand, and then Bucky tries to shoot Stark.

As for threatening Bucky's life, based on the expression Tony has it feels like he's genuinely shocked that Bucky just tried to shoot him, so I doubt he's threatened his life at this point.

ETA: Just rewatched it and Bucky literally has the gun to Stark's head and Tony either get's his gloved hand, which isn't on the gun at first, on the gun just in time or maybe while grabbing it he caused Bucky to accidentally pull the trigger, but that seems doubtful.

You did?

While I found The Avengers to be very good and very entertaining, the unstoppable nature of their foe was definitely not a reason why I liked it. Loki, while played to perfection by Tom Hiddleston, made for a mediocre villain.

Thor defeated him all by himself in his first stand alone film. And the alien invasion was pretty underwhelming and was nothing more than a scene to show the Avengers in action as a team.

Not once in that film did I ever feel like any of the main characters were in danger and not once in that film did I ever feel like Loki had the upper hand.

Not a single Marvel movie has had a good villain, IMO.
