Yes or no?

I haven't watched it since the 80s when it was always on HBO.
Burt and Dom always looked like they were having a blast.
The blooper reel was gold.

2 women with large breasts in a fast car.
I give it a 10-10 a 10
Not to mention all the great actors, actresses, and athletes that are in it.

Jackie Chan's first role in an American film! Loved him in his rocket boosted Suburu!

I don't know about all of that - but if there was an award for a film that the cast and crew had the most fun making, it would be called, "The Cannonball Run."
And a fun movie that doesn't try to be something it is not.
(More fun facts - most of the scenarios in the film are based on real situations during the Cannonball Runs over the years - for example, Hal Needham - the film's director - once did the race in a van disguised as a an ambulance.)
There is a dark side to the film, however. Stuntwoman Heidi Von Beltz (just passed earlier this year) was injured and ended up a quadriplegic. In addition, Burt has largely disavowed it over the years, saying he did it for the wrong reasons.
It was not critically well received at the time and remains so. It is, however, a guilty pleasure and one of the most fun "car porn" films, if only for the Countach and 308. Dean Martin and Sammy Davis, Jr., however drunk they were through the filming, their chemistry and presence are a treat. Farrah's worst acting performance - by far - and that's saying a lot.

That title belongs to Road to Perdition

I am honestly shocked that Cannonball Run hasn't been remade yet. It will be a travesty when it happens.

You gotta love it! I don't remember liking the second as much but damn, the cast of the second one is almost MAD MAD MAD MAD WORLD Like. Minus all the Oscar hardware.

Love that movie. For some reason I've seen 2 many times but 1 only once or twice. Maybe we had a VHS of 2 IDK.
Both are very entertaining.

The movie was my introduction to Dean Martin and Sammie Davis, for that alone, I'm thankful for the movie.. Just a fun fricking movie to watch on occasion but not underrated

I've seen that movie countless times... Every second of Sammy and Dean on screen is pure gold.

I never watched her for her acting ability. If it was up to me, I would have given her a best actress Oscar just for her looks. She's still my all time favorite.
