Hell yea! I'll have to find it on the torrents somewhere. What time does it air over there?

ETA: This thread probably won't get much traction until it hits the US.

Sweet. The streams ought to be up by the time I'm ready to cook dinner.

Isn't this season supposed to focus on the trial of Danny's killer?

If I watched Gracepoint, but not Broadchurch. Could I watch season 2 of Broadchurch without having to watch season 1 of Broadchurch? (Without missing any plot points, characters, etc...)

I haven't seen Gracepoint, but my mother swears they are the exact same. Main characters name is changed.

I just wiki'ed Gracepoint, and if the episode synopses are accurate, then they are literally the exact same show.

ETA: I do see some subtle differences now. Especially in how the kid died.

This would be cool.

Season 1 Spoilers:

I enjoyed the first season, but it was too similar to The Killing in that every character goes through a period where they are a suspect, thus bringing up some shite in their past. Then it turns out to the killer is a character that the show never even hinted at.

They went through almost every character in this way in Season 1, so I definitely at one point thought to myself that it might be her husband, thus making the conclusion pretty anti-dramatic.

I really did enjoy the show, just not the ending.

SPOILERS

Well, Damn

Eve Myles

Is Mark turning into another Joe?

The Claire revelation sure does throw last season into a new light

Few weird things where they fricked up how the British legal system works (mainly with the QCs and the exhumation).

Music's a bit better so far. They do need to turn up Tennant's microphone, though.

Overall, really good.

I thought it was a damn solid first episode. I really hope I didn't spoil where they are going with this by looking up the Gracepoint details.

Seasons are continuous. Season 2 looks like it will focus on the killer's trial, which is what the rumors were prior to the season.
