The opening with the theme song was funny but the rest was forced.
Didn't they originally contemplate Better Call Saul as a comedy until they realized what a great show they could make with it as a serious series?

It's pretty amazing how just a laugh track and quirky music can change the entire tone of something and suck the drama completely out.

Funny thing is, I binge watched Breaking Bad on Netflix, and felt there was a silliness to the show that wasn't really talked about. Maybe my favorite show ever, but I think I had a different experience watching it than most people.
