Looks like Amazon released it early. My binge starts now.

Through 2 episodes, I think Season 2 will be better than the first. I thought the first season was just pretty good but now the show seems to be hitting stride. It has several layers but it's seamless and easy to follow. Titus Welliver is great and like his character, the show itself is calm, cool, and collective. Easy to watch.

Just finished Season 2 and like I thought it's better than the first, much better even. More layers, better acting and more satisfying. Can't say enough about how good Welliver is, consistently stoic, jaded to bullshite. Because Bosch is seemingly always in trouble with his superiors and working on side cases, the show has good LA noir feel. The show moves at such a subtle and cool pace. Highly recommend.

I liked season 1, thought it was very good and an easy watch.
6 episodes into s2 and its a lot better than the first season and I would say it's excellent

Agreed, it is excellent and easily better than S1. I rewatched S1 after I finished with S2. The serial killer storyline was off to me, almost felt forced. The guy who played Waits was not convincing, didn't like how that and the found bones investigation flowed. Second season went much more smoothly. The acting by the whole cast in general was even better in S2. Bosch was more stoic, J Edgar did much better and so did Deputy Chief Irving. Surprised the show isn't getting more love on here, it's probably the best cop show out right now.

Decided to start watching this last week. Plowed through season one and am on ep 5 of season 2.
It's interesting to see J Edgar and try not to see him as Marlo.
