Are they trying to kill the show off?
6 months, 8 episodes.
Clowns are messing with the schedule even worse than NBC moving Scrubs 47 times.

Yep I noticed this too and it's the best frickin cartoon on their Sunday night line up
Fox should just send it to adult swim or maybe tbs then they could pair it with American Dad

Great show, hope they can keep it running.
On a side note, how awful is that show Bordertown? I tried to make it through an episode but man is it bad.
At least Last Man On Earth comes back this weekend.

Poor scheduling for sure, but they've already renewed for Seasons 7 and 8. We're getting at least two more seasons of this great, great show.
ETA: More King of the Hill than Scrubs. Blink and they've done 13 seasons.

Hell no and I actually still like most of the new family guy episodes unlike most people

American Dad is actually a pretty great show, but family guy leaves people skeptical about getting into it.

FG has higher peaks and valleys. It's basically Seth McFarlands outlet for sketch comedy/throwaway jokes now.
American dad is much more structured with story so the overall quality is better, which Family Guy was like that for the first few season and then SM lost interest.
Paintball Vietnam is a beautiful piece of comedy.
Kind of weird that his original big hit is the one that is basically his Guinne pig

And agreed. American Dad has many homerun episodes with the outlandish and subtlety combined. FG is great when it's Stewie/Brian adventures or Quagmire or Chris/Herbert. Again, IMO.
But nothing touches Roger. He's a character within a character with 200 other characters. He can do the throwaway jokes and also be the catalyst for entire episodes.
He's like a blob that SM and writers can mold into whatever they want per episode, but his personality is fully intact. Every single character is Roger. If that makes sense to you.
Just a night or two ago I was watching the episode when Steve ate the cookie Roger was going to eat. "You snooze, you lose" said Steve. Only Roger would make Steve think he's an adopted child the entire episode to get back at him. And at the end Steve respects Roger's vendetta and Haley tells Roger, "the Early bird gets the worm" sitting in a chair Roger was saving. "the Early bird gets the worm" says Roger plotting. Brilliant.
One of my favorite episodes is Great Space Roaster. Roger at his best.

I just got into BB recently, but it's awesome. Zeke is probably my favorite character. Dude cracks me up every time.

I remember when I was in college after Family Guy was cancelled, we had the box set and it was the funniest thing ever. Then after the "underground" success, they brought it back and it was just never as good. Plus, I got burnt out on the old stuff quickly.
Bob's Burgers just has great characters. I could watch 30 minutes of them following Gene around while he says stupid shite.

Louise is my favorite - the episode where Lynn turns the place into a BnB - pure gold.
