Just finished..... Woah.. The season finale had me edge of my seat. Watched the entirety in two days. At first it was hard to get used to Coach Rayborn but he was excellent. I can't wait for season two. Netflix is killing it with their shows.

I'd be shocked if Season 2 is as good. Danny made the show. I'm super skeptical.
The thing that kept me going through the early episodes was the small clips they showed at the end of each episode of the future. Now, there is no story to reveal. Just a secret to hide.

Mendelsohn Returning as Series Regular
I rewatched Season 1 recently, such a great show and an excellent piece of story telling. I found everything that happened to be entirely plausible. Character development is often talked about, this show does as good a job as any in its first season. I'm guessing the second season will reveal holes in their cover up. Can't wait.

I didn't like how they brought him in at the very end. It didn't seem to fit at all with the whole season. I think it's just their way to keep Danny in the show.

Just finished it last night.
Was hoping it was only 1 season since it ended so amazingly.
The last episode did a good job closing much of the story up but leaving open enough to allow imaginative speculation on what happened.

Danny is back for season 2 so I expect a lot of flashbacks. Id love to focus on what Danny was up to in Miami to explain that story early on.

This show very much felt like a one season show that Netflix found to be very successful and asked for a second season despite the show runners never having planned for a season two.

that was kind of how i felt at the close. i really enjoyed S1, but felt like last second they decided to blow the story back open unexpectedly for a S2.

Danny will still be in season 2 A LOT. He will be a "ghost" to the siblings like the deceased sister was to Danny AND there will be tons of flashbacks.
Also, John Leguizamo joins the cast as a villain of some sort. Pretty excited.

My theory about Danny Jr. is that he is who the envelopes full of money were for in Miami. Danny named his son after John.

i'm assuming the son saw them putting the drugs into danny's apt (the kid with the rayburn shirt) and so that's another secret to be fleshed out and buried to hell by them.

What about the family detective friend who worked the case of Danny was abused? I was thinking he was the one watching them putting the drugs in the Miami house. He has known all along about the family secrets but kept them quiet.
Also, my wife still laughs at me cause I walk around saying "Damnit Danny" in my best Coach Taylor voice.

It's hard to imagine this show could sustain the Danny storyline for several seasons, but the yea the first one was so damn good. Optimistic for season 2 but don't see how it could be as gripping as the first one.
