The Fugitive is on and wanted to see what old TV series that were made into semi modern movies made the cut.

Fugitive was decent. Anything else?

MASH was a movie that became a TV series, but it was really good as both. MASH is one of my favorite TV series all time.

MI stunk! Mr. Phelps turns bad? I don't think so.

The Fugitive stayed pretty much in line with the T.V. series. The good doctor Richard Kimbell devoted his life to finding the one-armed killer.

Underdog was pretty good considering it came from a cartoon series.

The Naked Gun films were just 90 to 100 minute big screen versions of the old Police Squad TV show.

Charlies Angels.

Then again you said best, so I don't know if either of the above qualify.
