(Bo Derek has a genius IQ, BTW, and even though it was a terrible film, she brought Tarzan in, on time, and under budget as producer - while we're on the subject, that one has some gratuitous boobs in it, as well.)
And Derek has been around so long, but started so young, it is startling to discover she's not yet 60. She's 58, turning 59 this November - the more you know, right?

I don't understand the topic. Grah...tuish...something? I looked the word up and it seems to be completely inapplicable to the use of boobs in major motion pictures. It even seems to imply that boobs aren't actually inherently necessary to every plot they happen to bounce through. Did you intend to imply this? 
Incidentally, my choice is the "execution by topless ladies" scene from Monty Python's "Meaning of Life."

The thing with Phoebe Cates is that the scene had context, and it was short.
Warner's scene in Doc Hollywood was completely out of place... and went on for almost a full minute, having a conversation with Michael J. Fox with her tits hanging out. In a non-R-rated movie.
I remember seeing it in the theater and thinking... WTF? Tits? In THIS movie? And the scene lasts forever. I was really shocked. Not that I minded all that much, but the scene seems REALLY out of place. It could have been cut and no one would have been the wiser.
The fact that they included the scene is the very definition of gratuitous boobage.

Melanie Griffith in "Nobody's Fool", 1994.
She was on the verge of rounding the corner but still looked great (hadn't yet been butchered by a skin doctor). Her boobs were in mint condition so I guess she wanted folks to know.

The movie is Teachers. The boobs in question belong to JoBeth Williams who for some unknown reason removed her top in the hallway of the school where she taught. Most gratuitous boob scene in movie history.
