What would you say is the best batman movie ever made?

My vote goes to The Dark Knight (2008)

This thread/discussion happens a lot.

If I have to choose one as the best, I'll take the 1989 original.

I don't want to derail the thread, but after seeing so much love for this on here, I watched it a couple of months ago. I just didn't get all the hype for it. I loved Batman the Animated Series as a kid, but the movie didn't resonate with me as an adult.

Dark Knight.

The Adam West film is great in its own right.

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker is my animated favorite.

While I think "The Dark Knight" is the the best movie ever made that features Batman, I believe "Batman" (1989) is the pinnacle of putting a Batman comic book on screen.

I personally think The Dark Knight is one of the greatest movies of all time. But thats just me.

But i can see how the comic lovers would slightly disagree.

My favorite is Batman: Assault on Arkham. It was a little more geared towards adults than most of them. Plus Conroy came back for it.

I would also say The Dark Knight as well.

And I really don't get the love for Mask of the Phantasm. I watched it a few years back and just didn't see the big deal. The score was very good though.

Michael Keaton+Jack Nicholson+Tim Burton+Danny Elfman= AWESOME

The Dark Knight would get my vote for best live action, but I feel like the animated films are the best.

The Red Hood
Mask of the Phantasm
Mr. Freeze's film
The Dark Knight Returns Parts I and II.

Even I would have let that Harley Quinn get it!

What does this even mean in context to these questions?

As in, the people who made Batman popular BEFORE the Dark Knight? People who read comics? Be specific.

Because given the comment, it's probably incorrect on all accounts.

Dark Knight imo. My favorite animated film is definitely the Red Hood one.
