A friend of mine at work has recommended it. What do you guys think? I really enjoyed the mini series. However, my time this summer is restraint to one series.

You need to get into bears and beets too. They go well with BSG

It's popular around here. I would recommend it.

I never watched it...but my husband binged on that series for forever it seems.
I think he was genuinely depressed when he realized there was no more to watch(just like in the video I linked)

BSG is a great drama. It's set in space, but that's just the backdrop. Survival, Politics, Religion, Love, Relationships, BSG has it all. One of the best TV series of all-time. I place it up there with some of the greatest.
It can be slow at times, most great dramas are. Adama is one of the best characters in TV history - and it's not because he's perfect. Every character on the show struggles along their journey.
The only thing that viewers dislike usually is the ending, but it still is okay IMO. It's still a brilliant show.

I will one day get to watching it.
I watch so many shows now as it is though.

Add it to your list above some of what you're watching.
First time BSG was recommended to me, I kind of scoffed. BSG reboot on SyFy, really, okay.
Then I watched it.
So say we all.

He'll yeah it's worth it! Erin Gray was smokin! Twiggy was hilarious and that time Gary Coleman was a 500 year old President of some planet! Classic!!
