Ok...was he not in uniform maybe?

No, he's not Captain America anymore. For now.

Thanks to Bunta for posting a better version. I don't get the logic behind a studio not releasing an official trailer once its shown at SDCC. They know people are going to see crappy leaked versions.

I still enjoyed it.

How long is this movie supposed to be? That's a hell of a lot of characters to cram into a film. It'll be very interesting to see how they juggle them all.

Builds buzz. And keeps the people at Comicon happy and buying tickets.

So this is only Infinity War part 1 and there will be a 2nd?

Is Infinity War the accumulation and conclusion of the MCU storyline that's been building up since the beginning with Iron Man?

Thanos is the end all Villain?

So many questions.

Absolutely. Until the end of Infinity Wars 2 and it's revealed there was a bigger baddie behind Thanos the whole time.

I think they nixed the "Infinity War Part II" idea but did say there is one more film to cap the first phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Will most like be connected to Infinity Wars. I could be wrong though.

Should be.

(Comic spoiler if that matters)

In one of the comics storylines, Thanos destroys half of the universe. I doubt they go that route with the movies, but I imagine Infinity Wars will end with Thanos wrecking shite. I would imagine the second movie will be defeating Thanos or trying to put life back together again.

That guy shouting and squealing during the trailer....I guess I just don't understand being THAT excited about a movie. I mean have some sense of decorum.

In the quick glimpse of Thanos Infinity Gauntlet, he only has the tesseract installed.

Or did I see it wrong?

I doubt he destroys half the universe, though I could see some planets going down and possibly certain areas (Asgard, Knowhere, etc) of planets (as the trailer suggests) before Thanos even arrives on Earth. At the end of it all it's conceivable Dr. Strange could reverse at least some of the effects with the Eye of Agamotto.

I believe the idea is Infinity War is basically getting everyone together and Thanos actually acquiring all the stones. I expect he'll get the final one in the gauntlet towards the end and we could possibly see some of the heroes fall by then. Then Avengers 4 will be them all fighting him with the fully powered gauntlet so he's even more powerful.

I can't tell what in the world is going on in any of that. I can wait though. I'm quite content with all the other stuff to come out of Comic-Con.

I thought I saw a full poster yesterday on Twitter that also had Captain Marvel on it. She looks great.

I'm guessing she will come in at the end of Infinity War that will set up her movie.
