You just said "you could argue". You're taking one small piece of evidence and coming up with a theory.

When was this said in the movie?

I'm not really sure why you're arguing. It worked for you. You came up with theories to explain missing pieces in the movie. That's cool. Like I said, I enjoyed the movie, but the Ultron creation was a fail for me. I also do not like the direction they're going with Stark. That's my opinion.

I don't really know much about the Avengers/comic books in general, but I stayed until all the credits rolled last night,

Who was the big purple guy at the end?

Thanos has been in three movies now. Has he gotten up from his chair yet?

Right, but did he say that that was the cause of Ultron going bad? I can't remember honestly.

I haven't even seen the movie, don't care about spoilers, but just from watching the trailers he has said that he was made to save the world and the only way to accomplish that is to get rid of humans. I thought that would be known, but like I said I haven't watched the movie.

Deadspin compared it to the empire strikes back

I don't know whether to rush to the theaters or laugh

well, his original statement is to get rid of the avengers as they are causing more harm than good...then he changes his stance to all humans.

Oh God no.

This is just the eleventh chapter in the neverending Marvel movie saga. Empire was a much bigger deal than this (creatively and in pop culture).

Nope.

You'll recognize the actress, but she hasn't appeared in the Marvel movieverse.

Tony Stark's character is getting ruined, IMO. He's basically turned into a whiny baby trying to get out of being a superhero. He talks to Banner for about 60 seconds and they decide to create Ultron. There’s no weighing his options. He wants to bypass all of the paperwork and create this being that could easily destroy all of the Avengers. They have no idea how this AI will react and yet they make the same mistake that has been done in movies a hundred times. All because they want to go to the beach? Really? Man up Stark.

I assume they are starting to kill off Tony Stark bc Robert Downing Jr. is going to be done playing the character soon.

Also, they have made him slightly depressed and fearful but that started in Iron Man 3. It isn't something new.

And he started experimenting to make Ultron because he knew he could only do it with the help of the staff and they were only allowed 3 days with it. It was either now or never, and after Scarlet Witch showed him visions of alien attacks and everyone dead he believed he had to do it now or the world would end.

And lastly.. He didn't actually create Ultron. They were starting to experiment with it and run programs to see how they could make it work. When they left and went to the party the soul gem created ultron itself and killed Jarvis (or so we thought).

Anyways.. I thought it was a good movie also and lots of action and random humor. I do agree that they jumped around a lot though.

Like during the last fight they make it seem like Vision is going to be the most powerful thing ever and nothing can stop him and then Ultron just randomly throws him down and knocks him out for like 5 minutes..

Ultron randomly disappears during the fights and they don't really show what he is doing.

Also Thor's whole disappearance and getting the old scientist guy was pointless unless they are trying to integrate him into the whole avengers science team (which he was apart of at the end). He literally just flys with him to that secret cave with the "mystical waters to help one recall dreams". And that's his only purpose.

Then they don't show us what Thor sees from the dream thats important. Just someone telling him "OMG EVERYONE WILL DIE!!!" and then he flys back super shocks the cradle which is creating Vision. Of course normally you would think that would destroy whatever he is hitting but I guess he knew it would actually finish the last uploading and creation of Vision.. Then he says some stuff about how "The soul gem is evil and will wreck chaos. So let's make it this thing and hope it picks our side!".

There are quite a few unexplained and jumpy parts like that. But after saying all that. I really don't care
It was a fun ride and very enjoyable.

Just got out of the movie. It was OK. I remember Ultron and scarlet witch being way more bad arse than that in the comics. And is Thanos going to have to kill Vision to complete the gauntlet. It would seem so. It was good for what it was.

They spoke as if the stone was in Vision's possession, not that it was an actual part of him.

It was always his intentions. It could be understood with talking about the cleansing of the earth. He was hiding his true intentions from the twins until Scarlet Witch read the mind of the body Ultron was trying to make.

I really enjoyed this one, even more so than the first. The story dragged at parts with Ultron's motives and such (felt like they could've tightened it), but the new characters and all the potential storylines they're introducing (Black Panther! Civil War! Infinity War!) had me hooked throughout.

Even though comics are notoriously cheesy with one-liners, I thought they went a bit too overboard with them here. Don't get me wrong, some were great, but they could've toned it down. The movie theater I was in sounded like we were taping a sitcom at times.

I'm a big Quicksilver (he's gotta be coming back) and Scarlet Witch fan, so it was cool to see them get some love in a major movie. Hope they are fixtures down the road.

Vision was the best part of the movie. Geeked out hard during his "creation."

And ScarJo just melted me in almost every scene she was in. That bar conversation with Banner? MAAAAAAAAAAAAN.

In the end, I consider this one my second or third-favorite MCU film so far, behind Winter Soldier and either ahead or tied with Guardians. Grade: 8/10.

ETA: I'm just a big Marvel fanboy in general, so take everything I just said FWIW.

In Thors vision you see the infinity stones and he realizes what's coming. He says that it is odd that they're appearing out of blue in the past years. That's why brings vision to life, because vision will protect the soul gem, being that it's his life source.
