If you like fun Japanese films, you should watch this right now. It's based on a comic and TV show.
Here's the plot if you don't want to watch the trailer:
A tentacled superbeing descends upon Earth. Travelling at speeds greater than Mach 30 he can destroy the Earth in a single blow. Except he doesn't only because the Japanese government lets him teach a class of the biggest misfits in a Jr. High School.
If the class doesn't kill him by the end of the school year he will destroy the Earth. The lessons the superbeing teaches is how to be good assassins so they can kill him. So they spend the whole movie trying to kill the superbeing teacher.
It's a romp.

I watched some of the anime and it was decent. I'll check this out.
