Archer Season 5 revisited

I went back and watched this season a few times. At first I thought it was shite, now it's growing on me. I think being able to watch it straight through helps.

Archer is one of my favorite comedies of all time.
But Season 5 was awful. Supporting characters were given way too much screen time and the plots just left quite a bit to be desired. What made it better watching it straight through?

I thought it was awful on first viewing, as well. If you're a true Archer fan, give it another shot.

Just watched it for the first time this week. Meh. I've seen every episode of the other seasons at least 10 times a piece. I won't be rewatching this season.
Although the episode where they pull out their phone and play the Price is Right fail horn made me pee my pants.

people hated this season? I thought it was one of the better ones.

A strong majority. I've only come across a few that liked it.

I really liked 5.
Worst episode was probably the Smokey & the Bandit episode.
Sure, Pam was a one trick cocaine pony that they beat to death but that is what they always do with jokes.

One second, while draining the bottle
I've rewatched 5, probably 6 times.
Heck, whenever I am bored and can't find something to watch, I tend to burn through the whole series pretty fast.
