Anyone watch this last season of Ballers? (Potential Spoilers)

I have liked the show it's whole run, it's a decent show to me, not great and not bad but I thought this whole season was kind of lame
I sort of struggled through the episodes thinking the finale would give Spencer and Joe their redemption but the ending just didn't do it for me
I mean sure they stayed true to their principles and didn't sellout to the rich guys while screwing over "the little guy" (who in the case of the Raiders fans may get screwd anyways) but it just seems to me they are right back where they started the season with running ASM and the season was mostly a waste of time
Just wanted to know if others agreed or what else people might think

i was pissed that they spent all season trying to get this deal done, then just decided not to do it.

I agree....It had a nice happy ending that predicable and boring
I enjoyed the season up until the end. No cliffhanger or any build to season 3

I screwed myself reading that without the spoiler warning, but I think deep down I wanted to know the ending because I share your same thoughts. The season as a whole just hasn't done it for me. I don't like how they made Ricky a CTE call out for the NFL.
Spencer got his arse worked the entire season.
Joe was same ol Joe which I liked.
I couldn't take Wayne seriously since he's the town cop in The Big Green
I did, however, love how Charles kept stayin true to himself and got the head coach he felt the Dolphins deserved. I also think his wife is sexy as fug! The on screen drama with Charles and Siefert was entertaining.
I'll watch the finale tonight (if this past Sunday was the finale).

Favorite part was Serinda Swan in her lingerie on the laptop. That black chick Candace is smoking hot too.

You referred to Steve fricking Guttenberg as "that town cop from The Big Green". That should be a felony.

Is The Big Green all you know Steve Guttenberg from? I'm guessing his response might have something to do with you knowing him as the cop from The Big Green but not as Mahoney from Police Academy

I wanted to start it but my HBO on demand for DTV won't let me watch season 1. Season 2 and 3 are available but I'd hate to miss 1/3 of the show. Looks like it's had a pretty good run so far.

Thats the funny thing about movies. You dont have to watch them as they are filmed. You can watch movies that arent happening right now.

Yeah that part was pretty lame. Had he "put up a fight" and then agreed I think it would have been better.

It was kind of a letdown.

I agree. The ending annoys me... I was looking forward to Spence bringing the raiders to vegas and what goes into that.Seemed like a season premier when they try to fix what they screwed up the previous seasons plot
I could care less about how Ndamukong Suh spends his money

To follow up on the previous post I'm still going to watch every episode on sunday nights and I'm also waiting for OBJ to cameo since he's in the intro

I thought it was the only way it could have ended without changing the show's dynamics. They are based in Miami. They handle players. If they are doing shite with building a franchise in Vegas, they aren't holding lavish parties and shite

Good call, Vegas is known for it's terrible party scene.
