She's hot and kinky. Even if she is a murderer.

I watched it. It was okay. The prosector is a complete and utter dumbass. This isn't to say she isn't a tad bit on the crazy side and might have known more than she let on. Killer? Nah. Between that and listening to the True Crime Profile podcast on it, it's pretty obvious who did it.

Hermann Guede

His DNA was all over the apartment and had a history of violence. It seems the main reason the Italian authorities looked at Knox is because they do not believe she reacted in the proper manner on finding her "friend" dead. The two were kissing and cuddling. Frankly, the woman is just kind off, but did not commit the murder. Physical evidence does not support that according to the Netflix doc. The Italian detective had a theory and tried to match the evidence to that theory instead of following the evidence to the real killer.

Nothing groundbreaking that hasn't been rehashed over and over on all the Datelines and 20/20's.

I think she was there and involved, accessory to murder at the least.

She served time and there is no way she was ever leaving the US to go back.

The Jon Benet Netflix show releases this weekend

Yep they had the BF's DNA on a random bra clasp that belonged to the girl that was murdered, a small bit of Amanda's in the room, and then a bit of the girl's DNA on a knife at the BF's house. All the while, Guede's DNA was all over the house with bloody handprints, etc. every where. If i'm not mistaken it was his shite that was found inside the toilet. The prosecutor wanted to "have his moment" and knew the story of this "innocent American white girl" with an "evil, manipulative layer" underneath would make huge handlines so he completely ignored Guede and zeroed in on Amanda because she didn't act like he thought she should've acted.

I did - very well done. Better than Making a Murderer, IMHO. Chilling how one can find oneself in such a situation.

And, she's definitely cray, all the same.

Yes, amazing how horrible of a role the Italian media played in it and the authorities completely botched it, esp failing to pursue the guy whose DNA was all over the place and victim.

Years ago I saw an news magazine show on her.

Said that previous to the murder two American Military pilots were flying under a cable car on a dare.

They flew to high and hit the cable cutting it. Several people from the City Knox was in died.

The Italian government wanted to try the pilots but the US Court Marshalled them instead.

Some feel this is why they went after Knox so hard.

I just think she was young and dumb, probably pretty damn naive about the world. I didn't really think she's crazy, just a girl who has been locked up for a crime she didn't commit because she didn't show enough grief.

It was dispicable how the media played into this charade to sell newspapers...and still to this day, they won't let go...

They decided from day 1 she was guilty because some crazed political climbing prosecutor said she was.

The British and Italian newspapers were the worst, especially that Pisa guy who worked for the Daily Mail and coined her Foxy Knoxy and said nobody had any interest in writing about Rudy Guede...even now:

Trial by media all those years.

The Cavalese disaster occurred in 1998. 19 (or 20) people died, but only 3 were Italians. It was an EA-6B flown by U.S. Marines and had a crew of 4. Only the pilot and navigator were courtmartialed and they beat the charges - initially. Ultimately, they were convicted, although only the pilot did any time (4 months).

But, Perugia (where Meredith Kuchner, Knox's roommate was killed) and Cavalese are like 325 miles apart. And with only 3 Italians among the cable car victims, not sure it was a local connection.

Now, the Italians were pretty steamed about it, generally, that's for sure.

They pursued Guede, but it was an easy conviction with nothing juicy about it. A career piece of shite criminal who left physical evidence. He was easily convicted but his sentence reduced to only 16 years. Pretty appalling but I guess not exciting for headlines.
