I'm about halfway through. This is a really absurd story. Basic premise is that a New Zealand journalist tries to interview a competitive tickling company. That company turns out to be batshit crazy and has been ruining people's lives with tickling videos.

It's as weird as it sounds.

Yes. Stop now. Take shower. Resume your life and don't look back.

Watching this makes me actually think something like pizzagate could actually be real that there is powerful rich men running Dark shite around the world.

This guy who ran this fetish gay thing for years and used his daddy's money and the law to scare people into not investigating what he was doing. This doc shows how easy it could be done by people with money and legal fear tactics.

I'm glad I finished it. What a bizarre documentary.

And you're absolutely right. Even consider Sandusky: ran a charity for troubled young boys so he could lure the vulnerable ones into sex acts with him. Went on for decades.

It never ceases to amaze me how many awful humans exist and how much pain they cause. Makes me wonder how few are truly normal, good folk who aren't doing strange, harmful shite when no one is looking.

HBO did a follow up to the documentary and it's a great epilogue to the story.

Truly bizarre but very interesting documentary

I watched the follow up right after and read the Tickled Truth website for a bit.

That guy is absolutely nuts and it's scary how much he could do and get away with simply because he inherited money.

I do think the documentary made the issue seem bigger than it actually was. I'm sure he lured in many boys to tickle each other over the years but the doc made it seemed like he was bankrolling some tickling-torture empire across the globe.
