It was fricking terrible and I saw it with a bunch of women who thought is was terrible too. I will always be a movie I remember because it was one of the last things I did with my Grandpa who died of cancer a month later.

It kept me entertained for a couple hours, but I haven't thought about it since. It's okay but nothing great about it.

I thought it was pretty good. Jlaw's performance was good.

I thought I was watching a Lifetime movie with a famous cast. Hardworking, single mom takes a chance and invents a mop. Let's not forget to throw in her kooky relatives.
I couldn't believe JLaw was nominated for an Oscar for it as the entire time I was watching it, I didn't believe her character at all. I couldn't figure out why they cast a 24 yr old to play this woman. It was retarded.

I liked the first hour or so with DeNiro and the mom and everyone in the same house together...after Bradley Cooper came on the movie went downhill. The whole Soap Opera thing was just bizarre and unnecessary. 1st half was B+, second half was D+ ..so I guess it's about a C movie.

I saw it in theaters with the GF (her choice). When we left we both looked at each other and tried to say we liked it... 5 minutes later we both agreed it was an awful waste of time movie.

Yeah the first part had real potential as a quirky comedy... then it got too serious.

Overall not a bad popcorn flick.

Very disappointing movie about a fricking mop. J Law phoned it in.

The David O Russell formula is over with.

You can't just throw Bradley Cooper, Robert DeNiro and JLaw into any fricking movie and expect that to carry out whatever garbage you've written.

I learned that if you use the wrong attorney you could end up losing $100,000,000.

Well, the Miracle Mop has a resurgence on sales since the movie.

So, yeah...HSN promotional movie. I sort of wonder how much they invested in this movie.

In all seriousness, the movie tried to be Erin Brockovich...

...but unlike that legal battle to save human lives and future lives from corporate corruption, the subject matter in joy is just poor-girl/rich-girl self-indulgent and self-serving and no appeal beyond her immediate family and I guess, clean kitchen floors for everyone if you are willing to spend the money.
