I want to see it. Undecided on if I’ll go while it’s in the theater or wait til it’s on iTunes. Have you heard anything good or bad?

Saw it last night. Started a thread on t, but apparently no one else had seen it yet.

Scream meets Groundhog Day/Edge of Tomorrow. When we saw the trailer a few months ago, I was convinced it was the worst movie title. Ever.

That said, I loved it. Jessica Rothe is an absolute smoke show, and she's in practically every shot.

It's great, campy fun that has zero risk of taking itself too seriously.

After seeing it, I think the trailer gave away too much.

Clueless meets Groundhog Day meets Scream.

I thought it had kind of a Final Girls tone to it. Pretty good. I enjoyed it.

I liked it a fair bit. It flirted a little too much with the line of being a retread, but it still got the job done. Especially was taken by surprised when it turned out to be set in LA, although it would have been cooler if they actually put it in New Orleans instead of turning Loyola into a fictional college.

A little lacking of depth however, which they sidesteped with the movie being extremely short.

Definitely. Especially the cop death.

Thought it was great. Must've been filmed in New Orleans. The mask is straight up King Cake Baby

It was descent. Definitely nowhere close to the level of Scream. If we are comparing it to other teen slasher movies then its closer to Valentine or Urban Legend.

I just saw it on Showtime and it was obvious when they kept putting an emphasis on the cupcake that she never seemed to eat

It's ok. I'm a horror fanatic, and I'll go easy on movies if it gave a good solid effort. I definitely agree with the people who said the trailers gave too much away. Same problem I had with Sinister (the whole "Bagul" nonsense notwithstanding)
