Heard it was a fantastic series, has anyone on here read it? If so, thoughts?

Haven't read it, but Sanderson did an admirable job finishing out the Wheel Of Time series, so I'll put it on the list.

I started the third book Sunday. High quality work typical of Sanderson. You will not be disappointed.

Do it. Well worth it.

I highly endorse the audiobook versions too. Easy way to pass time on a long drive.

Decent series, Allow of Law and Warbreaker by him are better if you like that trilogy.

Anybody read Steelheart also by Sanderson? Thinking of picking up either it or Mistborn but wasn't sure which.

I discovered Sanderson because of his work on Wheel of Time and he is now my favorite author. I got to meet him at a book signing out in San Francisco for Words of Radiance. Really cool dude who cares about his readers.

He is constantly pumping out material. In between books he releases short stories for free on his website. here is a link to one of my favorite: Link

Alloy of Law is the follow-up to Mistborn (set in the same world), good stuff. I've read all of Sanderson's stuff, but my favorites would be his newest series The Stormlight Archive (Way of Kings and Words of Radiance).

So, I started this book due to the MTV board advice and I really like it so far. But....has anyone noticed how often Sanderson uses the word frown(frowned). I really started noticing it about 50 pages in. I'm 200 in now and it stops me in my tracks every time it is on the page now. Out of curiosity, I searched for it on my kindle. The word appears 201 times. Now, that might not seem like a lot, but think about how rare you actually use that word. I know it is a small thing, but it has been nagging at me since I started reading. I wanted to see if anyone noticed this.
