thinking about purchasing one, but i need some reviews on it other than the amazon reviews.

couple of questions are.

does it have to be put in a window to get reception?

is the picture quality all that good?

can i get fox, NBC, and ABC on it?

what other channels can i get?

Make one yourself and save $20 or more.
I made one for $7, I live in Hammond, I get all the BR and NOLA stations. It's in my attic, and I have a splitter running as backup for my TVA if the satellite goes out.

I would be surprised if you get WAFB, the CBS affiliate in BR. They have a very weak transmitter. Heck, I live less than 10 miles from their tower, and I can't get them in my TV room (inside amplified Terk antenna), although I do get all the rest of the locals.
