Anyone get "viewer's remorse" after binge-watching?

Obviously, I'm mainly talking about the shows on Netflix and Amazon. You wait a year for a new season, blast through the episodes over a weekend, then you have to wait another year for the next season. I'm guilty of it too, but once I'm done, I always tell myself "man, I should've spread those episodes out more", but I rarely do. Sometimes I wish they'd release the episodes 2 or 3 at a time every week or so, just to control people like me with no willpower, lol...

I mow through them and just move on to the next one. Sometimes I'll revisit, but not usually.

The only viewers remorse I get is not liking what I got. I got this with House of Cards season 3 and Heroes first season. I don't really get it if I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I really wish I could rewatch Parks and Rec again for the very first time. I flew through it. I loved it so much.

I oughta revisit shows more, because sometimes I won't absorb everything when I jam 10 episodes into a few days...but since we're in a golden age for television, I'm seemingly always trying to get caught up with other shows on my "must see" list, lol...

did this with " The Shield"... back when netflix mailed DVD's would try to churn them out same day and mail them back just to get them quicker and i didnt actually let the show marinate and enjoy it, instead I was trying to just finish it and knock it out.

I actually did a similar thing for The Shield. I didn't get into it until late season 3. Once I decided I was all-in with the show, I DVR'd the rest of season 3 and blew through all the episodes before then (via Netflix and however else I could find it), so I could watch those DVR'd episodes as soon as possible. I'd since bought the series box set, and have soaked it in alot more...

I enjoyed S2 of F is For Family, but I binged through it quickly, and now I'm kinda bummed I have to wait so long for what the last episode set up for S3...

That's why I watch them in two to three episode batches.

Three is my limit, but I more often stop after two, or even one. Not much of a binge watcher.

That's what I'll say ahead of time...but then I'll watch three the next day, too...then three the next day, and I'll see I only have one episode left, so I'm like "frick it, I'll go ahead and watch it now". So if I started on Friday, I'm still done before the weekend's over, heh...

I think another reason I'll blaze through the episodes is because I'd have to avoid the discussion threads (here and elsewhere) until I'm through watching 'em all. That's why the selfish part of me kinda wishes they'd release 2 or 3 every couple of weeks, as opposed to the whole ball of wax at once, then everyone could be on the same page to talk about it...I know, it's minor shite to be bitching about

I'm a little weird and lucky in a sense. I can watch shows over and over again and still find them entertaining. I still watch Seinfeld every day even though I've seen every episode multiple times. Same for binge watching shows. I can wait a couple of months then watch them again and still enjoy them.

I wish I would have stretched out Stranger Things or at least waited till closer to October to start so I had another season to watch.

My issue is that I have so many shows, whether it be older shows that I missed out on or newer shows, that I need to watch that binge-watching is the only way I can do it at this point. I just don't have the time anymore to spread things out

I had some remorse on season 2 of The Last Kingdom.

I thought there were 10 episodes but after I finished episode 8 I found it was the last one.

Mostly just Netflix shows. Specifically Bojack and OITNB.

I initially thought this was about pushing through and finishing a show that turned out to be pretty crappy. In that case I'd definitely answer How I Met Your Mother.

Also Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt season 2, but so far season 3 is bringing me right back in.
