Anyone else watching Into the Badlands?

Just started season one on Netflix, I'm loving it.

I just caught up to the last episode, and it's been great. The acting has been pretty awkward at times between Sunny and the kid, but the fight scenes are incredible.

Yup. I like it. The actor for Sunny sucks at emotion. The actor for MK is kinda annoying with his teen angst. Nick Frost has been hilarious. Constant slo-mo scenes get tiring after a while. I do like the plot though.

The fight scenes are the point of the show and I feel season 2 has been kind of weak in that regard. They've had a few good ones, but in season 1 it seemed like every episode had a spectacular, vivid, memorable fight scene. That just hasn't been the case in season 2.

I just finished season 1 and am almost done with season 2. I think I like the show, but there's also something about it that annoys the piss out of me and I can't quite put my finger on it.
Still, would recommend overall.

Season 1 kicked arse. Season 2 was kinda strange. Hopefully the next season redeems it some.

Season 2 fight scenes were nowhere near as good as season 1. Not sure what they changed
