Anybody watched Penny Dreadful yet?

I was watching something on another channel and saw ads for this new show on Showtime. It looked "intriguing", to say the least. Didn't get too much from the commercial though. Just wondering if y'all have seen the first two episodes and if it is worth the watch...

But...2 eps in....very cool premise, and the acting is top notch. Has a really cool vibe as well..

I only saw the first episode during the free preview weekend, but I'll probably add it to my DVD queue when it comes out. Intriguing is a good word, the pilot episode had a few luls, but for the most part kept you intrigued. In a nutshell it's monster hunters in early 1800s London.

Fantastic so far, but this type of stuff is right up my alley.
Basically League of Extraordinary Gentleman, the show. Love it.

Have watched both episodes and really enjoyed it, I always found Billie Piper hot, cannot peg it down but she just looks like a chick that would be a great bang.

Then end of episode 2 was badass and threw a huge wtf your way.
I suggest watching it.
I like the fact that it's only an 8 episode series like True Detective so they are forced to write a good series.
