my dumbass watched season 2 in its entirety last night not realizing it was season 2 . My question is: is season 1 worth going back to watch prequel style?

Honestly, the only thing I felt confused by at first was the relationship between David and Karen. It was pretty clear they used to date and then obviously when her soon to be marriage was brought up it was easy to pick up from there.
I felt like I got a pretty good grasp of the characters. David is the typical go through life rationally type of guy, but I was impressed by his decision to turn down jobs and find his own way. By the end of the season I was pretty annoyed with Skye. (insert Kenny Powers "yeah I hurt myself, hurt my nose here). Nash is hilarious. He speaks like his writing a damn poem haha. The Wheeler and Misty relationship is too farfetched. It's taking the "out kicking your coverage" premise to outkicking your atmosphere! Barry is your typical frat daddy needing a good arse beating, which apparently he got from David (I assumed that happened in season 1). Love how his friend calls him Barracuda
anyways...I revert back to the original question...should I go back to watch season 1?

Yeah. You're going to miss some of the good development, but expanding upon Nash's pathos, Wheeler and Maggie, and David's parents is probably worth it.

Yes, it's a great and very underrated show IMO.

Haven't Started Season 2 yet, and I don't know why. Season 1 was my favorite Amazon show until MITHC

Such a good show. Season 1 is definitely more than worth your time to go back and watch.
