Currently streaming on Netflix and looks absolutely terrible as expected.

You've got to know that your acting career is complete shite and done for when you play a retard in a horrible straight to Netflix film by Adam Sandler. Looking at you, Taylor Lautner.

there's a thread on the secr otb. Apparently most people can only make it about 15 minutes.

I despise sandler's movies and I have no doubt this one is atrocious as well. But I'm tempted to at least watch the beginning to see how truly awful it is.

I enjoyed this quote from the otb thread

quote:

Studios saw it and refused to send it to theater. Think of the other Adam Sandler movies which the studios have put their names on. They were willing to back "Jack and Jill," but they considered "Ridiculous 6" so much worse than that movie, or any other Sandler movie, that they wouldn't dare put their logo in front of the opening scene. That tells you everything you need to know about how awful it is.

I tried watching this on 3 different occasions this weekend. I haven't made it past the 20 minute mark yet.

Hanging scence and baseball scene gave me a laugh.

Rest was pretty bad.

Except that I think Sandler has a 6 film deal with Netflix because of how cheap his movies are to make and how much money they bring in at the box office. Sandler doesn't need studios to make and release movies. He has his own.

I'm less than 5 minutes in and it's pretty friggin' terrible.

I can't see myself making it through it. The Native American lady is ridiculously hot, though.

I don't think that's true though. I remember hearing about the Netflix and Sandler deal a while ago and this movie was referenced to be still filming.

I have no doubt its shite.

This

As shitty as the movie may be, I believe this wasn't a "flop and sent straight to netflix". Netflix has a $40M or so deal with Sandler for like 4 movies

After watching it, I fell that all of his friends are at least trying to act and put in an effort. In this movie Sandler looks like he is reading off cue cards. I don't know if that was the purpose and how his character was supposed to seem, but it was awful.
