Looks like it could be funny, but it also could be just god awful.

Been reading bad reviews online and I guess it bombed at the box office.

Having said that, I'm still going to watch it this week. I loved the 1st one.

it only made $5.8 million this weekend and got a C+ from CinemaScore so the word of mouth is just as bad as the critic reviews.

I couldn't even finish watching the trailer it looked so bad. No way it's a good movie at all.

Really?

That's hilarious.

This is one I'll prolly catch on DVD when it comes out. Not really much of an interest to go see it in theaters.

don't waste your time at the theaters for sure.

it belongs in a redbox starting yesterday.

It really missed Cusak. 3 supporting actors plus Adam Scott can't equal a lead. Also, you get a lot of the jokes from the first movie rehashed in the sequel like you usually do.

Paraphrasing from reddit. If 22 Jump St. is the top end of comedy sequels, then HTTM2 represents the other end. I don't know if it was THAT bad, cause Caddyshack 2 is obviously the anchor on sequel scales.

I'd say if Sex Drive was Clark Duke's arrival into comedy and HTTM was his peek, he's back to square one.

There are some nice boobs to see like the first one tho.

Why? He was completely replaceable in the first movie and Adam Scott is hilarious

If it was bad it's not because of missing Kusack.

And see, I was really underwhelmed with 22JS. I thought it was pretty good, but I had heard all kinds of shite about how awesome of a sequel it was and all that. I guess my expectations were too high.

I agree that Cusack wasn't anything special in the first one, but can see how the dynamic could be different without him. My mani problem with this sequel is that, as most times, it wasn't necessary. The first movie is so great, and it is pretty much a complete story. This one is just adding more over the top shite (expected) and feels like more of a money grab rather than a meaningful sequel. That being said, I'll still watch it at some point though.

It tends to put people off when the main character of a movie isn't there for the sequel.

My SO immediately tuned out on this once she found out he wasn't in it. I'm sure there were quite a few people who felt the same way.

Plus, Adam Scott is barely shown at all in the previews. So even if he is liked enough that some would go see it for him they don't feature him enough in ads to grab those people.
