Another Louisiana Reality Show - Duck Dynasty

They make good calls. I remember the episode where Billy and his brother of Billy the Exterminator went to go clean their blinds. They found so many snakes, black widows, brown recluses, and wasps that Billy said, "frick it." and left.

I've played golf and poker with Willie a few times. Smart guy and just as goofy as he is portrayed on TV. He is a member at the same golf course I am and they have shot a few scenes at the course recently.
The advertisements for the new show make it appear that they flaunt their wealth, but that is the opposite of the truth. They enjoy a good time and nice things, but they are very low-key about their success.

Yea but at least this guy is pretty well known in hunting. You ever heard of the Duck Commander shirts, duck calls, etc? It's him.
eta: Saw him a restaraunt in Monroe a while back. Everyone is dressed nice and he walks in in camo, huge beard, etc but from what I hear about people that know him...the most down to earth guy you will ever meet

Phil Robertson? That SOB is still alive? I still have several of the original Duck Commander videos on VHS back at my folks house. Haven't watched any of them since the 90s, but I remember being able to tell even then how poorly produced and edited they were. It was easy to tell when they just chopped together some footage to make it look like they were calling in thousands of green heads from a single blind on a clear day.

Phil and my uncle are good buddies. He's on most of the original DC vids. Phil's a great guy. His family too.

It's a reality show. They will do that. They really are good people. Especially Mr Phil. He donates to a lot of stuff
