I enjoy this universe along with the Conjuring films. First Annabelle was not good, but the trailers have looked solid for this one.

Even if the Warrens are totally FOS in real life, Blum House had done a great job at creating a cohesive universe for these movies. The Nun is coming, as well as a Crooked Man movie, to hear the Hollywood murmurs.

My wife went and saw the first movie with me when we were dating. Anytime a preview for Creation comes on she makes me mute the tv so I doubt she'll be watching this one with me.

Well there's no real Annabelle - since this is all fake by convicted hucksters.
But yeah, the doll was basically a Raggedy Ann Doll that they paraded around. That's how lazy they were...a dime store doll back in the 70's.

Just got out and thought it was excellent. Scary moments combined with a good story. The Conjuring series of movies is some of the finest horror around.

Agreed. Went and watched it yesterday. It legit would make you want to put your hands over your eyes.

Just got out and enjoyed it, not as good as The Conjuring 2 but it was still solid.
I agree, though, the first 1/3 dragged but I thought after Janice got picked up from the chair and dropped things took off for me. Really good from then on.

1 is great. 2 is great but not as good (in some ways better because I cared about the family more). Creation is a little bit better than competent and fricking scary as shite.
