Awesome. The last episode is awesome, but my favorite is episode 4, "Full Swing".
Same. When guitars and baseball are reoccurring themes of the show, you know its a show right up my ally

So I'm on Amazon right now trying to see how much Howl's Moving Castle is on BD, and I noticed something interesting... Christian Bale is the voice for Howl... mind blown

Dude, I noticed that the other day when I watched it and it blew my mind too. Tried to go back and see if I could notice it, but it doesn't sound like him.

It's that whole actor part of being a voice actor.

Crazy how few of those we have.

This really can't be stated enough... Funi could do well to hire some decent voice actors, or at least ones that are trying to voice act. I hear the same 5 or so on every one of their freaking dubs and there's almost no feeling in any of them

I'm noticing that more actors are getting into the voice acting business.

Nathan Filion is getting into it and has become pretty prominent in the DC Universe movies.

Yea, he is pretty much the voice of Green Lantern now. Some of his other roles:

Steve Trevor (Wonder Woman)
Buck (Halo: ODST and Halo: Reach)
Sgt. Reynolds (Halo 3)

He has been in American Dad, Robot Chicken, The Venture Bros., and Justice League as a side character.

That's pretty awesome. I hope more actors will get into VAing in the future.

I'm so so so so so excited for Kill la Kill
All aboard the hype train, because it ain't slowing down anytime soon. Only two and a half weeks till it starts

Just some thoughts on the anime I've finished lately.

Trigun - fricking amazing. Vash

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Worst anime ending I have seen save inuyasha. The End of Evangelion movie just pissed me off even more. On top of that evangelion has the least likable main character of any anime I've seen to date.

High School of the Dead - Short and enjoyable with absurd amounts of fan service.

Blue Exorcist - Decidedly mediocre.

definitely a polarizing show. Shinji is probably one of the most realistic characters in anime, because he is such a bitch in the position he was put in. wish he would have manned up and plowed asuka though

Cookie-cutter shounen, but I've seen a lot worse

I can kind of understand why he reacts the way he does sometimes, but at some point Shinji needed to stop fricking whining. I have heard that Shinji is slightly less annoying in the rebuild so I might give it a try. The setting/plot had me enjoying the show until it all fell apart.

Is Gainax doing it? Looks like Gurren/Diebuster's artist.

Definitely polarizing. I highly recommend you watch the Rebirth movies.

I loved it, but you ain't seen nothing in regards to absurdity.

I felt it just completely fell apart in the second half. Was really enjoying it and it just got incredibly stupid and got worse and worse as it ended.

Can't wait for the shingeki no kyojin finale. Read the manga and spoiled it, but what an amazing show.

I went and started the manga a while ago and regret nothing it's really freaking good, although now that I think about it, I'm like 3 chapters behind now

If I wanted to start watching anime what series should I start with?

Sci-fi and fantasy are my current go to movie/book/tv show genres.
