Haven't watched tonight. The Lafayette boy last night was entertaining. I liked his tone and he was clever in his song choices. He pulled it off.

I thought the last audition was supposed to a big surprise. I didn't find him anything special.

I'm liking this season. I stopped watching for several years, but I really like the chemistry between the judges now and the talent is pretty exceptional. The blues guitar kid, the black girl from Connecticut singing great AND playing acoustic guitar like James Taylor, the Lafayette dude. There are dozens of really great singers/artists.

He was on C-Lo's team and got cut sometime during the battle rounds I think. Made it through the auditions (chair turning) but not to fan voting.
Edit: He made it to the Top 20 on The Voice.

I was watching clips on youtube and I think the rich Indian girl from Marthas Vineyard is the best so far. She's got no shot of making it once they start voting though.
Everybody who makes it far is from a small towns where you get hundreds of people from your town voting a 1000x every week. Its doubtful anybody from Marthas freaking Vineyard watches American idol every week. There exceptions are if you good looking like the dude who won it last year from Connecticut Adam Lambert(San Diego) Justin Guarini(Philly) Katharine McPhee(Los Angeles) or Jessica Sanchez who had the filipinos voting

nice to see they are weeding out a lot of the less talented people.
already tired of the 2 guys who consider themselves "ladies men". And J-Lo is playing right along with them.
the green haired girl has no business even being in hollywood, much less making it to the next round.
I think these 3 judges should create their own show since Idol is ending. If they had their own singing talent contest show....i would watch. They have great chemistry.

That was one boring show last night. Nothing but snippets of not much. I've never liked the drama of group week. I just want to see them sing. I enjoy watching the groups sing, but the buildup toward that is soap opera city.
Looks like mono man is going to be in the middle of the drama. How do they keep a guy with contagious mono around?
