American Horror Story: Cult

Murder House - really liked it
Asylum - Not as good as Murder House, but I still liked it.
Coven - struggled through it, kept thinking this is going to get good and it never really did.
Freakshow - started off good (loved the premise) and then really fizzled. Was a struggle for me to even finish.
Hotel - didn't even start it. By the end of Freakshow I had other shows I thought were more worth the time. How is it? Worth a watch?
Roanoke - didn't even know about it. I thought Hotel was the last one they did. What was this one about? Any good?

I got bored with the series a couple episodes into season 3 after already getting a bit tired of the bad writing throughout seasons 1 and 2 - mainly the nonsense plot elements that don't lead anywhere. But prior to that I enjoyed 1-2 for the most part. Never bothered with the rest of the seasons and I doubt I'll bother with Cult. Apparently it's a bunch of political bullshite relating to the election:

I saw the cast Lena Dunham for this season. That was enough to make me say I'm done.

It was alright. The last 2 episodes felt kind of like Murder House again, so that was good. The rest of it was so-so. Overall I'd say it was better than Freakshow (I didn't watch hotel either, so can't tell you about that).

Pretty much every season starts out really promising and spirals into meaningless tripe by the last 3-4 episodes.

I thought Roanoke started off bad and got better towards the end though. The last 2 episodes were basically slasher films.
But yeah, Freakshow squandered the premise the most I thought. Everything went downhill after the clown died.

Yep, that's exactly how I would rank it (with exclusion of Hotel due to not seeing it).

I liked Hotel quite a bit. Hell, I put it right behind Murder House. Evan Peters and Denis O'Hare were terrific in it. Lady Gaga was pretty good and she has an arse and a half.
I gave up on both Coven and Roanoake. Liked Freakshow a bit because it had good villains. Asylum was too depressing, although I loved the scene where they sang "The Name Game".

It's always flashy but the substance sucks. I liked Murder House and Asylum but now that Murphy has gone through every fetish ever invented I guess he figures what the hell I'll cast Queen Prog Lena and do the election.

I loved Murder House and really liked Asylum. Coven was awful and I stopped watching after a few episodes. Didn't even watch Freakshow because of how bad Coven was and the concept didn't interest me much. I watched Hotel...it was ok. Roanoke was pretty good.

Shitty comics have rejoiced the past year because they don't have to do anything. I don't need my horror shows doing the same.

I've watched every season, through good and bad, but I will not watch with Lena Dunham on the cast. Not only is she a shitty person, but she sucked the soul out of her own show with her shitty acting.
