Yes, it's like NetFlix and there is a decent amount of catalog overlap between the 2. The interface is pretty terrible compared to NetFlix though, but if an extra $8 per month is an issue and you already have Prime for shipping, then choosing Prime over NetFlix is easy. For me the interface is bad enough that I use NetFlix much more.

just like netflix for the most part plus the unlimited free two day shipping of course. they have some things netflix doesn't and vice versa. their deal with fx is a biggie imo.

yes they need to clean this up. everything is all spread out. they need to have all the tv shows together, not separated by season.

netflix much more crisp in this area. i've had the service for almost a year now and it doesn't look like they've done anything to sharpen things up.

if you dont already have prime and use it for 2 day shipping and stuff I would say you need to go with netfix over prime any day of the week

Amazon Prime is great but as others said the interface is horrible and even when streaming free content, there are 1 click purchase buttons all over the damn place. Oh and 1 click can't be disabled even though it can for the rest of the site.

Pisses me off. Hit purchase season 3 times in 1 freaking day when I was just randomly clicking from one monitor over to the Amazon Prime monitor.

Netflix has multi-seasons linked and it does a much better job of picking up where you left off on a season.

Still love both. For $20.00 I get a zillion hours of content and free shipping whereas in the olden dark days, I used to drop $20.00 per week at Blockbuster or Major for just a few movies a week.

the 2 day free shipping and the discounts you get on products makes it worth it I have saved hundreds with amazon prime.

the instant prime is a nice addition.

agree with this.

but strictly tv purposes netflix is worth every penny it costs over Prime.

The free shipping makes Prime pretty much free. Hard to argue with that.

Interesting. Maybe it's because I'm streaming through PS3, but I always have to enter a pin code prior to purchase.

Same thing on the Roku box.

Thank God, otherwise my kids would have bankrupted me by now.
