Amazon Prime Question

Does anyone know how long it takes for a TV show to switch from pay per view to Prime? We have been watching The Americans through Prime and Season 3 is still pay per view/season. Any history on how long it takes for the newer season to go to Prime?

that's going to depend on the show/network
i believe FX is really bad about not letting shows be available until right before a new season drops

They probably only switch things to prime when they see a certain amount of people paying for it drop off. Not really a set timeline.

If I recall correctly, Season 2 of The Americans wasn't available on Prime until shortly before the beginning of Season 2. There was time to binge watch, however.

Its going to be awhile, probably when season 4 is set to air. I remember watching season 1 on Prime and having a long wait for season 2. I am wondering the same about Banshee, season 1 just became available on Prime and I flew through that. Since season 3 ended in March, I'm hoping season 2 hits Prime before too long but no telling.

FX pulled season 3 off of their website last week. I was midway between Season 3.
Plus you have to sign in with your cable provider login(used my parents).
I don't think Season 2 dropped on Amazon until Season 3 began airing.

It was around last December before season 2 was put on prime
