Is freak show any better? It seems like the show has gone downhill every season.

Freak Show is pretty damn good so far. I haven't seen Coven, and probably will just skip it after reading all the hate it gets.

I really don't get the hate for coven. I am on episode 7 and I think it is the best season so far. Maybe the wheels fall off later, but I have been entertained.

Coven is a season you just have to have fun with. If you're a hardcore horror nerd and expect a lot of gore and slashing, Coven will disappoint you. If you go into it with an open mind, you'll really enjoy it. It is campy, but I enjoyed it a lot more than the other seasons.
Freak Show has been disappointing, although Finn Wittrock has done an excellent job. Other than that, the actings been pretty terrible and the storyline jumpy.

Which is why everyone hated it. I couldn't make it past about 4 or 5 episodes. I had huge expectations for it and it sucked.
