Either HBO or Showtime used to broadcast taped plays, filmed in front of a live audience. I seem to remember several of these, usually "who dunnit" type comedy plays. Anyone else remember this and have any further info?

I still have the Bob Nelson special on VHS that I taped sometime in the 80's. Haven't thought about it in years.
