After walking the earth for almost 29 years, this weekend I finally watched the original trilogy, episodes IV-VI.

- It took me almost 3 years to see the first Austin Powers.
- I own Blood Diamond and have never watched it.
- I've never seen the Godfather part III. Hell, I've never watched Part II in one sitting.

i really, really enjoyed it.

the physical conflict wasn't nearly as interesting as the internal struggles, imo.

i actually went in with low expectations and that helped. i know that sounds crazy because of the reputation of the films, but i honestly just wasn't interested in seeing them. i am glad that i pulled the trigger

You know, people give Avatar a lot of hell. Don't get me wrong, it's not a good movie, but I will tell you it's kind of fun. If you have a 3D TV or they play it in 3D in theaters again (which I'd recommend over seeing it at your house), it's really pretty amazing visually. The 3D technology Cameron developed and shot the movie in is breathtaking. There are only a handful of other movies out there that can be considered on Avatar's level for 3D and most of them are animated.

The Godfather, but I thought I did.

My brother had the box set, and I popped in the first one one day.

Part of the way through I was absolutely confused by the story, and it dawned on me that Pacino looked way too old.

Checked in the box, and he had the movies switched up.

I still never have gone back and watched the original.

I'm envious. Empire is the GOAT, but unfortunately for you, you probably watched the "special" edition which transforms a great movie into an alright movie

I watched ET for the first time a few months ago and loved it
