Janus Films has acquired the Museum of Modern Art and The Film Foundation’s 4K restoration of the late George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead for theatrical distribution.

Throughout the month of October, the restoration is hitting the road and stopping off in several cities across the United States

quote:

"What we have now, for good or for bad, is exactly what I shot,” Romero said of the digital restoration just last year. “This is closer than anything we’ve seen to the definitive version of the film. It’s in the right format, 1.33:1, and that’s never been seen before either.”

It's showing in New Orleans October 27th and 28th at the Broad Theater on N. Broad St.

Check the Janus website to see where else it's showing this month LINK

Dawn is my favorite horror movie ever so I'm stoked to see it on the big screen!

I didn't realize it was a double feature with Dawn until I bought my ticket yesterday. I can't wait p. This is going to be my first time at The Broad Theater
