If it actually does return I will probably rewatch the entire series. I haven't seen a single episode of 24 since 2010 and never watched any reruns of the show, so I have forgotten a lot.

For those saying that they can't compete, I agree they will need a different style on the show and the writing will need to advance, but this is network TV and they could dominate that space. 24 doesn't have Lost to compete with like they did for a large part of their run.

It is a different era of TV now, but in 24's prime they still were going toe-to-toe with the likes of The West Wing, Lost, The Sopranos, Deadwood and The Wire. Still an impressive lineup. The show will be fine as long as they don't hire imbeciles for writers.

We've had too many government operatives who bend the rules lately. I'm tired of it, and I'm tired of TV heroes who do it.

I hope Jack returns as a park ranger to hunt down and get revenge on that mountain lion that almost killed his little girl

I'm almost finished doing this right now. I did it in a round about way...started with season 4 because I remember that one being badass, and I just couldn't stop. I made it through 4-8 and 1. I have 5 episodes left in 2, then I'll watch 3 to wrap it up.

What's amazing to me is the amount of things I forgot. Big plot twists are easy to remember, but there are a lot of details I forgot.

I also have a different take on which seasons were best/worst. I used to think 6 was the worst, but it's in my top half now. I also used to think 2 was great, but I think it's the worst now. I still rank season 5 #1, followed closely by season 4.

I really hope this happens, but if it does, I don't want them to screw up the series with some garbage. Hopefully they'll do it right.

According to Wikipedia, I know I know, there was supposed to be a movie called Die hard 24/7. Where it was a cross over between die hard and 24. John McClane and Jack Bauer together on the silver screen? Yes please!

with how awful the last two Die Hard movies were would you really want a Micheal Bay-esque shite fest to infect 24?

I loved season 2 the first time, hard to watch the 2nd time.

You know that is the outline for every season.

Oh wait, you are probably mad because I didn't start out the post with SPOILERS.
