First it was JJ Watt, now Ken Whisenhunt is making statements about Zach Mettenberger

Coach not happy with Mettenberger's appearance

quote:

Whisenhunt said that he only recently learned what a selfie is and didn’t object to Watt’s objection to Mettenberger’s decision to chronicle his week and his haircut on social media. Whisenhunt also said that Mettenberger’s dedication to the job has never been in doubt this season, although he added that the team had a hand in getting Mettenberger to trim his hair before Sunday’s start. The coach explained that players can do whatever they want “once you have had success,” but that it was important for Mettenberger to get off on “the right foot.”

Not really. What mett did was pretty childish/immature whatever you wanna call it IMO. No room for kids in the NFL.

This story is just weird. I like Mett. Seems like he's getting a lot of hate for idiotic stuff. Who gives a shite about selfies and haircuts?

Kinda sucks for him. Like he needs added pressure.

The NFL has a major image problem and it's not from people taking selfies...

What I want to know is how could JJ Watt be so focused and in tune before the game yet he not only know about this happening less than two hours before the game but also decided on a celebration that mimics it?

Watt is a hypocritical douchebag in this instance.

What's funny is Jeremy Hill posted a selfie on Instagram and ESPN or NFL networks pregame show praised his attire and said he dressed well

Just room for rapists, drunk drivers, wife beaters, drug users, murderers, etc

And Eddie Lacy and Frank Gore play in the NFL despite almost conquering the alphabet

KW was asked questions yesterday in his weekly PC about mett, and he answered them... not sure he's making a big deal out of it.

Mett probably realizes now that doing some of that stuff the week he's starting is probably not smart. It's all good when you're 3rd string practice squad, but it's different now.

Judging from what I see on TV, JJ Watts has been at that damned middle school dance for about 3 weeks straight now

Yeah if anything JJ should be criticized for showing up to a middle school dance in his uniform. That's creepy.

27/41 299 yards 2 TDs 1INT and 2 sacks

I think the Titans defense was more of problem than Mettenberger's selfies
