I did a similar thread on the movie/tv board. I'll start. While the Warriors are good at what they do, they are one of the worst things to happen to the NBA with copy cats and their over reliance on threes.

In Basketball (outside of the last 2 minutes), when offensive team is in the "bonus" they can either choose to shoot the free throw or just retain possession with a new shot clock.

What's wrong with that style?

You see half the league with under thirty percent three point shooting on any given night and teams like the Rockets taking 40 threes in a game.

Lebron and Kobe would have just as many championships as Jordan if you traded them out on those teams. Nike has raised Jordan to mythical levels even though his supporting cast won 55 games without him in 93-94.

Rugby is better than American football as there isn't a commercial break every 4 minutes.

I get it's tradition but baseball irks me that the fields are all different sizes.

The marathon is the most overrated athletic event in history.

They actually destroy your body and an incredibly stupid endeavor for humans.

It measures little in athletic ability unlike the 5K.

30% of all marathoners come into their marathon with systemic injuries from excessive training that is un-natural to the body.

One study looked at 255 participants in an extended, 32-week marathon training program and found that 90 of them—that’s 35 percent—experienced “overuse” injuries. Among those who sustained a new injury during the month leading up to the race, one-quarter were still suffering, to some extent, three months later.
