Your CFB Travels/Trips in 2015?
Posted by SpartyGator on 7/11/15 at 11:56 am00
Finally Got some free time to plan some trips later this year. Usually do a CFB trip once a year the last few years (went to Oregon last year, which was awesome, the Swamp back in 09, Penn St in 08, etc.).
Where ya'll going this year? Thought about this after a couple UT people I know down here are heading up to SB for the ND game.

Yeah, that should be a good one. Plus, Bama hasn't been there since 08, IIRC.

I'll be one of 5 people in the stands at Wallace Wade for the game against Northwestern, and I'll probably go to Rowdy Dowdy for a couple of games.

Awesome. I've only seen AFA, and Naval Academy (and that stadium looks pretty cool). WP in the fall has to be really pretty.

Baton Rouge isn't on the itinerary

Going back to Lexington for AU and Kentucky. Haven't been there since like 2005 so kinda interested to see what's changed.
Auburn travels on chartered flights for most road games this year so it's not feasible to go to Baton Rouge, College Station, and Fayetteville in the same year

I'll make the trip from Virginia to all the Ohio State home games. I have flights and hotel rooms booked for the B1G Championship Game. I also have hotel rooms booked for the Orange Bowl but have not booked flights yet. That's it so far which is probably enough.

Will you still go if Ohio State doesn't make it?
Nope. Flights and tickets are booked with miles and points and are refundable up until the day before the reservation.
I fully expect them to make the B1G championship game. I'm not as confident with the Orange Bowl.

I'm assuming you're going to the VT game too, right?

Seriously thinking about going to Utah, but western games are basically ambush games for midwestern teams other than an exception like OSU at Cal a few years ago.

I'm not sure. I return from Italy the day before the VT game. Still thinking about that one.
