Chipper has told him time and time again to step up in the box. Heyward thinks he needs to extend to hit the ball outta the park. When in reality he is strong enough to where he doesnt have to. But when you cant get to a pitch on the outer half of the plate it makes it tough on yourself.

Heyward drove me nuts the entire time he was here. There is an elite player buried in there if only he was able to make the adjustments to tap into it. I so badly wanted him to become the next Braves hall of fame lifer.

yea I remember seeing tons of swings and misses from him on balls middle-up and I could never understand why he didn't crush those
