Its a new program. You want a coach who is going to establish a program and put it on the map. You can pick any 3 coaches and the $20/mil a year contract ensures you get them. If you want a 15 year coach it may change who you pick..

Jim Tressel went to 4 AA championships.. Harbaugh is like living in Bizzaro world taking Kaepernick to a Super Bowl while Saban is the grand wizard of college football and getting more credit for having a best team and winning while Harbaugh did way more on a bigger stage.
Its like Tom Brady enrolling in Michigan but you would rather start Deshaun Watson over him because he had more success last year on the college level.
