Would you support a kneel down in the Anthem on Sunday?

I will support the right and freedom to do so. I sure as hell hope that nobody does it though. Sunday is one of those days that should be for remembrance and reverence. Not division and looking to promote an ideology.

So you wouldn't give a frick on the 15th anniversary of 9/11?

I support people being allowed to criticize those who take a knee without being shouted "FIRST AMENDMENT!!!11!11!" at them

I support it because it exposes the real un-american individuals.

I don't care.

I do think it's a shame that kneeling during the anthem will be nothing but the new Runnin Off On Da Plug or dap. Nothing but a fad. That's a little sad.

No I wouldn't. I'm only in control of myself. Unless it directly affects me, I'm not going to get upset about what someone else does.

I don't care. I think forced patriotism is lame to begin with. There's nothing wrong with being proud of your country and saying so, but being told "now is the time to do it" is just stupid. I think forcing kids to say the pledge every morning is borderline creepy too.

This whole thing made me think about the last time I've said the pledge since elementary school. I've maybe done it 5 times since then.

as a schoolteacher, I agree with this. The kids don't get it and they say it with no meaning. I think they should learn it, and then say it on special occasions like Veterans Day or when honoring an individual.

As a veteran, I fully support everyone's right to kneel during the anthem, throw medals over a wall, and not say the pledge. I do think most of those non veteran protesters don't realize how they are vicariously disrespecting people who died for their right to protest.

Just the opinion of someone who treats everyday like the 4th of July.

I think I would sit until the institutional racism of affirmative action is abolished.

People are such fricking sheep, not even a God damned issue.

funny how the people who are for it are never the ones personally fricked by it

People have the right to make asses of themselves. This just makes them easier to point out.

It'd be nice if they could tell us exactly what they want to accomplish with their protest but whatever floats their boat
