Would you rather have Saban coach your college team, or Belichick your pro team?

...if you were magically given the option to make one of those things happen.

Saban has talent advantage with college.
Belichek is pretty on par with talent to other teams.
So does saban get the talent/recruiting advantage... if so, i take saban in college very easily.

It has to be Saban. I would also take Meyer over Belichick. The gap between Saban, Meyer and the third best coach in college football is significantly wider than Belichick vs. the other top coaches in the NFL.

Considering I care about cfb about 1000000000000 times more than pro, this is a no brainer.

Saban owes much of his success to a recruiting edge, Bill to having Tom Brady. Saban can continue to reload recruiting wise, Brady has a very finite amount of time left.
before wildcat starts, I'm not taking anything away from Bll by making the brady statement.

I'd take BeliCHEAT.
Saban is The Devil.

I'd keep Pete Carroll, so I guess that means I'd take Saban. Saban is a machine. I do have a lot of faith that Chris Petersen is building something special, but Saban is on another level.

Saban.
Belichick, while arguably the GOAT pro coach, has had practically all of his success as a HC with arguably the GOAT QB. I know he was the last coach to win a playoff game for Cleveland, but that's beside the point.
Saban has to deal with scholarship limitations, recruiting barriers, and constant player turnover at every position. He's won 5 different NCs with 4 different QBs. That's pretty incredible.

Saban. BB has never won anything without Brady (not that he couldn't). Saban has won with many different groups. I know he has great talent to work with but that is part of his job so the answer remains him.
Actually brings up another question I had. How highly regarded were Saban's qbs at Bama. I don't really follow recruiting. Were any of them regarded as 5 star prospects?

Belichick. He wouldn't be handicapped by the NFL team he goes to, Saban owes a decent but to Bamas ability to get recruits. He was good at LSU and MSU, but not world beater like at bama.

He turned Matt Cassel from a perpetual bench player into an all star.

Belicheck for sure. NFL is big boy football. However, I'd rather Saban at LSU than John Curtis coach my high school.

Saban, because I don't have a problem team.
